After losing her mother, a little girl learned to navigate a world that could be both beautiful and dangerous. LaNinaRaww became her armor, the knight protecting the authentic girl underneath. Born in Washington D.C., raised in Maryland, rooted in Nigerian heritage from Anambra State. Her story is one of survival, identity, and becoming.

LaNinaRaww is an independent Afro-Fusion artist, songwriter, and storyteller exploring the many roles women learn to play to survive, belong, and become. Her music is a living archive of womanhood, shaped by vulnerability, femininity, ambition, resilience, and self-discovery.
Born Nnenna Onuora, she fell in love with African music in 2012 and has spent the years since building a sound that bridges cultures, continents, and emotional truths.
